Best Ontario Destinations for Thrill-Seekers
By Kate Bradford
Are you an adrenaline junky? Ontario has so much to offer, and there are tons of amazing attractions in your backyard that will tickle your adventure bone and get your heart racing. Here’s our list of some of the best destinations for the more adventurous traveler.
EdgeWalk – The CN Tower
Perhaps the most famous attraction for thrill seekers in Ontario is EdgeWalk at the CN Tower. If you’re brave enough, you will be taken up to 116 storeys above Toronto, safely harnessed with a special guide in groups of 6, and dangled over the edge of a 5 foot platform atop the most famous tower in Canada. If you can overcome the height, there is no better view of the city than from high atop the CN Tower.
The experience runs year round, weather permitting, and your ticket includes access to all other attractions at the tower.

iFly Toronto
We may not all be brave enough to jump out of a plane, but you can experience some of what a skydiver does at iFly Toronto. After training with an expert instructor, you will be taken into a 45-foot tall cylinder with winds of 175km per hour where you will find out what it feels like to fly! Safe, fun, and thrilling, this experience is suitable for adults and children 4 and older who meet weight and height requirements. It’s a great way to experience the thrill of skydiving without the danger of jumping out of a plane!
