Fall Colours Train Experience with the York-Durham Heritage Railway
The Oakridges Moraine is known for its beautiful forests and captivating fall colours, so what better way to enjoy them than from the comfort of a classic heated 1950’s heritage train car? If you enjoy Fall Colours then this experience is for you!
Fall Colours trains operate Saturdays and Sundays from October 1st through to October 15th. This popular ride sells quickly. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Saturday round trips depart from Uxbridge at 10 am, 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Train rides are 90 minutes long departing and returning to Uxbridge with a brief stop in Goodwood, while passengers remain on the train.
Sunday trains depart the Uxbridge Station at 10:00 am and 2:30 pm and from Stouffville at noon. Round trips between Uxbridge and Stouffville are 2 hours. We offer four trip options, where you can either spend time in Stouffville or Uxbridge or stay on board the train.

About York-Durham Heritage Railway
Celebrating 20 years of operation, the York-Durham Heritage Railway is a non-profit association run by volunteers. The railway is the only one of its kind in the GTA, offering trips on Sundays during the regular operating season (June to October).
In addition to the regular schedule, we also run a variety of special themed trips for the family. Ride in one of our heated/air conditioned heritage coaches from the 1950’s. You can also take advantage of our doors-open baggage car. Our train is equipped with a wheelchair accessible washroom, snack bar and souvenir stand.
