Ride the Halloween Train

It’s October and Halloween is fast approaching. Join the York-Durham Heritage Railway for our popular annual Halloween Train – October 21, 22, 28 & 29!

Enjoy live entertainment on-board a decorated heritage train. Children 12 and under wearing a Halloween costume ride for only $1 (Max 2 children per adult).  Upon departing the train each child will receive a loot bag.

Snack service is available in the baggage car.

Saturday trips:  Train rides are 90-minutes round trip departing from the Uxbridge station at 10 am, 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

Sunday Trips: Train rides are 2 hours round-trip departing from the Uxbridge Station at 10:00 am and 2:30 pm and from the Stouffville GO station at noon.  We offer four trip options, where you can either spend time in Stouffville or Uxbridge or stay on board the train.

About York-Durham Heritage Railway

Celebrating 20 years of operation, the York-Durham Heritage Railway is a non-profit association run by volunteers.  The railway is the only one of its kind in the GTA, offering trips on Sundays during the regular operating season (June to October).

In addition to the regular schedule, we also run a variety of special themed trips for the family. Ride in one of our heated/air conditioned heritage coaches from the 1950’s. You can also take advantage of our doors-open baggage car. Our train is equipped with a wheelchair accessible washroom, snack bar and souvenir stand.
