Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum

ON-SITE AND VIRTUAL CANADIAN HISTORY PROGRAMS

The Diefenbunker offers a one-of-a-kind experiential learning environment for students to immerse themselves in Canadian history, 75 ft underground. Combining an informative tour of this once-top secret, four-storey underground bunker with interactive activities and discussion, classes and youth groups can experience the complexities of the Cold War first-hand and discuss the implications on our lives today. Educational programs are offered on-site and virtually. Topics include: Art and Peacebuilding; Continuity of Government; Daily Life in the Diefenbunker; and Emergency Preparedness.
