‘The Birds and the Bees’ migrate to PSFT

COMING SOON: THE BIRDS AND THE BEES

 

“A sparkling new comedy about family, and friends, and relationships, and sex, and farming, and … bees.”

 

The Port Stanley Festival Theatre closes its 2016 summer season with a production of Mark Crawford’s (“Stag and Doe”, and “Bed and Breakfast”), brand new comedy “The Birds and the Bees”. Running from August 17th, in our newly renovated Grace Auditorium, this sparkling Canadian comedy enjoys a three week run with a closing night September 3rd.

 

Starring Susan Johnston Collins (“Old Love”, “Knickers: A Brief Comedy”, “Mending Fences”, “Animal Magnetism”, and “Having Hope at Home”), Terry Barna (”Harvest, “Here On The Flightpath”, “7-10 Split”, “and “Mending Fences”,), Jane Spence (“The Melville Boys”, “When The Reaper Calls”, and “Elvis and Mavis”) and Ryan Bommarito (“White Rabbit, Red Rabbit”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Othello”, and “Entitlement”), “The Birds and the Bees” is directed by PSFT Artistic Director Simon Joynes, and Stage Managed by Kevin Olson, with Set Design by Eric Bunnell and Lighting Design by Karen Crichton.

With a varied season, which will appeal to single ticket buyers, subscribers, and tour groups alike, the Port Stanley Festival Theatre provides another season of top quality entertainment in 2016.
